Meet The Owner

Erica Green Foy

Hello, everyone! My name is Erica Green Foy and I was born in Charleston, South Carolina. I attended South Carolina State University and graduated with honors with a degree in Elementary Education. I received a Master at Grand Canyon University with a Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading. I have been an educator for 18 years. I am proud to be the owner and director of my first preschool Carolina CORE Development Center. I am certified to teach Elementary Education, and have taught Kindergarten, First grade, Third grade, and Fifth grade. I also founded the Carolina Girl Book Club, that is a book club for younger girls that encourages them to love reading.

I have a true passion for working with our youngest learners! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, language, and motor—is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strives to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment.
